“What should I expect from a typical worship service?”
Our traditionally styled worship service offers relevant teaching from God’s Word, authentic corporate worship and singing. We would love to have you join us this Sunday!
“What do United Methodists believe?”
We believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
*note that the use of the word “catholic”, when not capitalized, means “universal.”

“Why do you start at 9:25?”
Starting 5 minutes early allows us to make announcements before we get down to the business at hand – worshiping our Lord and Savior.
“What should I wear?”
Come casual or come formal! Just come! On a typical Sunday morning you will see jeans, khakis, suits, dresses, shorts, and capris. Don’t lose sleep over what to wear!
“What do I do with my kids?”
Bring them! Preschool age children are welcome in worship or you can make use of our nursery which is right across the hall from the sanctuary. All of our nursery staff have undergone backgrounds checks in order to ensure your child’s safety. We invite your elementary age children to join you for the first portion of our service. After a short children’s sermon they may either remain to worship with you or they will be escorted downstairs for Jr. Church. Middle and high school youth are encouraged to worship with you.
After the worship service be sure to join us in our Fellowship Hall downstairs for Coffee, Cookies and Conversation. At 11 AM Sunday School is offered for all ages. Join us!
