Preschool
Discovery Time Preschool provides a non-denominational, Christian atmosphere to facilitate children’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth. We respect each child as an individual; growing and developing in his or her own way. We encourage creativity, independent choice, responsibility, self-control, and the development of a positive self-image.
As our preschool is operated by Canal Fulton United Methodist Church, religious and cultural values will be shared with the children through stories, songs, and simple prayer.
Through a warm, loving environment and a comprehensive program, we hope to prepare each child with the skills they will need to transition successfully into school. Our curriculum is based on Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards.
Daily activities include circle time, learning centers, art, science, music and movement, large motor exercise, a group game, story time and, of course, snack!
We also feature cooking time, Bible time with Pastor Jon, sticker club, nature walk, fire department visit, fall costume party, Thanksgiving celebration, Christmas program, a birthday party for Jesus, Valentine's Day party, Easter egg hunt, parent-teacher conferences, day at the park and Cherry Street Creamery, bubble day, ice cream party, kindergarten investigation day, and the end of the year program!

Preschool - 2 classes: Tuesday & Thursday 9am-11:30am and Wednesday & Friday 9am-11:30am
4 & 5 year-olds
Preschool - Tuesday - Friday 9am-Noon
